Jonathan Majors is an American actor known for his roles in film, television, and theater. He was born on September 7, 1989, in Dallas, Texas.
Majors attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting. He then went on to study at the Yale School of Drama, where he received a Master of Fine Arts degree.
Majors' breakout role came in 2019 when he starred in the critically acclaimed film "The Last Black Man in San Francisco." He then went on to star in the HBO series "Lovecraft Country," for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
In addition to his work on screen, Majors has also appeared on stage in productions of "The Tempest," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and "Othello."
Majors has several upcoming projects, including a starring role in the Marvel Studios film "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania," and the lead role in the Netflix film "The Harder They Fall."
