Klay Thompson is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on February 8, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, United States. Thompson played college basketball at Washington State University before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 11th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Thompson is widely regarded as one of the best shooters in NBA history, and he has been named to the NBA All-Star team five times. He has also won three NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors and was a key player in their record-setting 73-win regular season in 2015-16.
